Because they were worn as kimonos, there are some stains, creases, needle marks, and discoloration that won't come off, but we try to make them as inconspicuous as possible. We also incorporate these as a part of the design of our remade kimono clothing.

If you are considering washing the item at home, we recommend folding it, gently hand washing it, then wiping off excess moisture with a towel, promptly drying it in the shade, and ironing it while it is still not completely dry.

We do not recommend washing in a washing machine.
